I am new to Pole Dancing. I am a beginner. Does your camp cater for that?
Yes, you can join in on either the 7 day or 4 day package. The expert instructors will help modify the moves to suit your level.
What if I have never tried yoga before!
That’s perfect! All the classes will take into account the level of each individual and adapt the classes and poses to suit everyone. Whether you are a first timer or a more advanced yoga practitioner you are welcome.
Can I come alone? Can I stay with other people in a share apartment?
Yes. Most of our campers are solo travellers, though, by the end of the week together they leave with a new group friends that become more like family! Part of the joy at Barcelona Pole & Yoga Camp is to meet different people from all over the world.
When signing up you can make a few choices for your accommodation. We will do the best to partner you with someone looking to stay in the same apartment. We appreciate your flexibility if your first choice is not available.
We are a group of friends joining the retreat. Can we have our own apartment?
Yes. As above. You will get the opportunity to mark down your preferences of where you want to stay and if choosing an apartment, how many people and who you want to share with. We will do our best to place you with your chosen friends. Added bonus of booking with friends is you will get a special ‘Bring a friend discount’.
What is the age range and gender of participants?
We attract mainly women and some men of all ages and backgrounds, with the majority being in their twenties to late forties. In the past we’ve had an entire family join, brother, sister and their parents!
What is a typical day at Camp?
Whilst we fit in a lot in each day at the Camp, we like to allow for some down time and late starts too! Your morning will usually start with a yoga class, then after a short break you’ll start some pole workshops.
We either have lunch delivered to the studio or take a longer break in the middle of the day. If so, you can go off for lunch, soak up some sun on the beach, or have a siesta. Then we meet later for more pole workshops, yoga in the park or an evening activity.
In your down time you may want to get a physio treatment, enjoy a relaxing message, or simply relax.
*schedule times are subject to change
What do I need to bring?
- Pole & Yoga clothes
- Pole grip
- Knee pads or knee protection
- Note pad
- Beach wear
- Special outfits or costumes for photoshoot (optional)
- Any medications necessary for known medical conditions
How much free time will I have?
Your schedule during the camp is busy. Between your classes there is some free time. Sometimes enough for a quick snack and recharge before the next workshop. Other days we will schedule at least 3-4 hours free time. If you want to do any sight-seeing we suggest you book time either side of the retreat.
When should I book my arrival and departure flights?
This year the camp starts on Wednesday 20th June, 2018. For both the 4 & 7 night package, you need to arrive to arrive on the day of the camp and be ready to arrive at the studio at about 1pm.
Departures for the 7 day campers should be booked for the following Wednesday 27th June. We will wake up on the Costa Brava on the final day so you can look at flights from Girona airport (closest) or Barcelona El Prat. If booking from Barcelona make sure it’s a late afternoon or evening flight to give yourself enough time to reach the airport. Count for about 2hrs travel time.
You may want to treat yourself to an extra night on the Costa Brava.
Departures for the 4 night campers should be booked for the following Sunday 24th June. You have no scheduled activities on June 24th so you are free to book your return flight at any time.
How do I book?
It’s easy! Go to the booking form at: BOOKING FORM PAGE and fill in your details. Then you must make a payment to hold your place. All details of how to make payments are on the booking page.
I’ve booked and paid though I can’t attend the camp anymore. Do I get a refund?
