Frequently Asked Questions

I am new to Pole Dancing. I am a beginner. Does your camp cater for that?

Yes, you can join in on either the 6 day or 3 day package. The expert instructors will help modify the moves to suit your level.

What if I have never tried yoga before!

That’s perfect! All the classes will take into account the level of each individual and adapt the classes and poses to suit everyone. Whether you are a first timer or a more advanced yoga practitioner you are welcome.

Can I come alone? Can I stay with other people in a shared accommodation?

Yes. Some people book with their friend, though most of our retreat goers are solo travellers. You can choose to share a twin room or book a private room. Either way, by the end of the week together you will leave with a new group friends that feel like family! Part of the joy at Barcelona Pole & Yoga Camp is to meet different people from all over the world.

When signing up you can make a few choices for your accommodation. We will do the best to partner you with someone looking to stay in the same apartment. We appreciate your flexibility if your first choice is not available.

We are a group of friends joining the retreat. Can we all stay together?

Yes. As above. You will get the opportunity to mark down your preferences of where you want to stay in some cases we can accommodate 3 or 4 people to a room (depending on availability).  Added bonus of booking with friends is you will get a special ‘Bring a friend discount’. What is the age range and gender of participants?

We attract mainly women and some men of all ages and backgrounds, with the majority being in their twenties to late forties. In the past we’ve had an entire family join, brother, sister and their parents!

What is a typical day at Camp?

Whilst we fit in a lot in each day at the Camp, we like to allow for some down time and late starts too! Your morning will usually start with a yoga class, then after a short break you’ll start some pole workshops.

We either have some snacks or lunch in studio (when a short break) or take a longer break in the middle of the day. If so, you can go off for lunch, soak up some sun on the beach, or have a siesta. Then we meet later for more pole workshops, yoga in the park or an evening activity. On some days, there’s also free time in the evenings so you can make your own dinner or party plans.

In your down time you may want to get a physio muscle activation treatment, enjoy a deep tissue massage, or simply relax.
